Effective date: October 5, 2026. This policy describes browser storage and Google Analytics consent mode used by CBD Field Guide. The Google tag loads with analytics consent denied and may send cookieless signals before you choose.
Required preference storage
The site uses browser local storage under the key cbdfieldguide_privacy_choice_v1 to remember whether Analytics is allowed and when you made that choice. It expires after up to 180 days. This preference storage is necessary to remember your selection; it is not used as an analytics identifier. Clearing local storage in your browser removes the choice, and the banner will appear again.
Optional Google Analytics
The site loads Google Analytics 4 using measurement ID G-0KSTMJSMYB with Advanced Consent Mode. Before a choice, consent is denied for analytics and advertising storage. Google may still receive cookieless consent-mode signals, which can include the page request, consent state, and technical request information. If you allow Analytics, the site updates consent and Google Analytics may use first-party cookies, commonly named _ga and _ga_*, and similar identifiers to distinguish browsers and understand page visits and interactions. If you reject Analytics, analytics storage remains denied and Analytics cookies and full measurement remain off, although cookieless signals may continue. Cookie behavior and expiration depend on browser behavior and the Analytics property configuration. The site does not configure advertising features. A Global Privacy Control signal prevents the Google tag from loading.
Google Fonts is a display resource and is requested independently of Analytics consent. See Google’s information for visitors of sites using Google Analytics. Analytics data retention should be checked in the site operator’s Google Analytics account.
Change or withdraw your choice
to allow or reject Analytics cookies and full measurement. A browser Global Privacy Control signal prevents the Google tag from loading. You can also use the “Privacy choices” button fixed at the bottom of the page.
For broader information about site data or privacy requests, read the Privacy Notice.
